You don't have to figure
this out alone
A free helpline for people struggling with addiction — and for the families who love them. Call or text, and a real person will get back to you.
What happens when you call
Our intake assistant answers, in English or Russian. Say as much or as little as you want — there is no form and no script.
A few questions, only to understand what would actually help. You never have to give your name.
Someone from our team calls you back. We don't transfer you around and we don't leave you on hold.
What we offer Free of charge
Talking it through
A conversation with someone who understands addiction and will not judge you or rush you.
Help for families
When someone you love refuses treatment — what to say, what not to say, and what actually helps.
Online program
A structured program you can join from anywhere, at no cost.
Talks and groups
Topic-based talks, a forum, and support groups for people in recovery and their families.
What we are not
We are not a treatment center and we are not a referral service. We do not place anyone into a facility, we do not verify insurance, and we receive no payment from anyone for sending people their way. We listen, we explain the options that exist, and we stay in touch.
Other places to turn
National services, free and independent of us. We name them because they are good, not because we have any relationship with them.
- SAMHSA National Helpline — 1-800-662-HELP (4357). Free, confidential, 24/7, treatment referral and information in many languages.
- findtreatment.gov — the federal directory of treatment programs.
- 988 — Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, 24/7.
